About 200 people attended the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society’s 3rd Annual Day at the Races fundraiser to support The Children’s Clinic. Guests gathered at the Cheney Mansion, Saturday May 1, 2010 for the event, which featured a viewing of the Kentucky Derby, music by the band, Go Long Mule, and games of skill and chance. There was a silent and live auction, a hat contest and a raffle. Guests enjoyed southern style food and an open bar that included traditional derby cocktails such as Mint Juleps and Whiskey Sours.
